I love every shoot I do with Erica and Patrick. First there was the engagement, then the wedding, and now the maternity photos…. It is an honor and is so wonderful to see their lives unfolding through pictures. I posted a few favorites already from this shoot and now here are a few more! I love black and white maternity photography…. pregnancy is such a beautiful time of life. Here is a little sneak preview of a recent pregnancy photo shoot…. this mom (also one of my brides who is now starting her family!) looks so gorgeous and glowing…. more to come from this shoot soon:)

I am always so happy and excited when I can work with past wedding clients on their family portraits… especially when they are starting a new family! I photographed 2 (yes 2!) of Erik and Limber’s weddings a few years ago. Let me explain…. Limber is Peruvian and Erik is American, so they celebrated a wedding at L’Auberge in Del Mar, and then headed down to Peru to have another, more traditional ceremony with Limber’s family! It is still one of the most memorable and exciting weddings I have ever shot…. and now I am honored to start documenting the beginning of their new family. We took photos at their home in Rancho Santa Fe, here are some favorites!
I love that they treat their dog as part of the family! This is a Portuguese water dog like the Obama family!
