As inquiries roll in and bookings are completed, I always feel sad when a couple inquires for their wedding date and I am already booked. I am so honored by all the couples who would like to include Vallentyne Photography in their special day that I have been working hard on developing a new branch of the growing company to include associate photographers!

I am so excited about the Vallentyne Photographers project and about being able to provide the same level of service and quality to all my clients, including those who choose one of our talented associate photographers. We would like to introduce Shannon and David, who will be accepting photography bookings, and also Herbie, who will be accepting videography clients! The decision to add a talented videographer to our team is very exciting. The two mediums of photography and videography often go hand in hand and we work closely together. We will now be able to offer a final product that incorporates stills, motion, and sound in a beautiful fusion of memories captured for your wedding day.

A few nights ago I had the pleasure of going up to Costa Mesa to see my friend Lori Epner’s new collection of custom jewelry! CLEEO was created by Lori with the vision of jewelry with a modern twist. It was inspired by her great Aunt… “C” represents Cece (Lori’s great aunt), “LEE” are her initials and “O” is the emotional reaction of a woman, when responding to something she adores. I love this unique approach to naming her creation! Be sure to check out here lovely designs here and take one home for yourself!

The line of handmade necklaces and bracelets are crafted from vintage finds of rhinestones, brooches and earrings are given a second life. Lori’s trunk show was hosted by Goat Boutique in Costa Mesa and there were so many beautiful pieces to see, here are some pics from the evening!

I was just working on my blog and decided I have to brag about how great it is for a bit:) I am so happy I switched my old Blogger blog to this new ProPhoto theme WordPress one. It is far superior in every way and was so affordable and easy to set up. I think the best parts were:

1. it is totally customizable even if you know nothing about HTML

2. It imported my entire old blog, with photos so I didn’t have to start from scratch!

I highly recommend these guys…. not just to photographers! I know for a fact that there are some coordinators, florists, and DJ’s out there (you know who you are!!!) who seriously need a new blog with the capability of showing beautiful images of their work.
